September 18 | 11:00am - 12:00pm
This is an in-person program

In this class you will learn a method of decorative mending from Japan known as Sashiko. Sashiko is a type of traditional Japanese embroidery or stitching used for the decorative and/or functional reinforcement of cloth and clothing. Sashiko is both beautiful and strong making any project made with this technique a one-of-a-kind work of art.  All materials will be provided.
