To thrive physically and emotionally, cancer survivors need to prioritize a small portion of daily food intake to feed their gut microbial allies. This food intake includes minimally processed, fiber-rich, phenol-rich plant foods free of additives. Keeping our gut microbial allies well-fed optimizes immune functioning, metabolic functioning, brain functioning and reduces risk of cancer recurrence.
