When will Cancer Support Community be resuming in-person programs?
In-person programs continue to be re-introduced gradually in 2023. Please continue to check the Cancer Support Community Calendar for specific program details by clicking on the programs you’re interested in.
What do I need to do to start attending in-person programs again?
Because we serve an immunocompromised population, face masks are highly recommended.
Please stay home if you are exhibiting signs of illness (i.e. fever, cough, sneezing).
Our facility is fragrance free.
What is the difference between virtual, hybrid, and in-person programs?
Virtual programs are those that will only be held via Zoom.
Hybrid programs are those that will be held in-person at our facility and will also stream via Zoom. This gives members the opportunity to participate in the program in-person or virtually via Zoom.
In-Person programs are those that will be held at our facility with no virtual participation option.
How often is the facility cleaned?
Cancer Support Community’s facility is cleaned weekly by an outside cleaning service. Restrooms and elevators are cleaned and restocked several times a day.
What safety measures are put into place?
Cancer Support Community has placed air purifiers in all rooms, doors will be open for cross-ventilation where possible, and hand sanitizers and sanitizing wipes will be available throughout the facility. Masks will also remain available for use. We ask that guests be mindful of not overcrowding in common areas and refrain from sharing food and drinks.
Who can I contact with questions?
Cancer Support Community will be posting regular updates on our website and social media. You can also sign up for our email list by sending your first name, last name, and email address to info@cancersupportsgv.org.
