Join our Baldwin Art Gallery Maker Series, a special monthly creative workshop where participants come together to create meaningful works of art that will be displayed in the Baldwin Art Gallery.

Each session features a different artistic medium led by talented local artists, offering a welcoming space for creativity, self-expression, and community connection. Artwork created through this series will be exhibited and available for sale, with 100% of proceeds benefiting Cancer Support Community, helping ensure that no one faces cancer alone.

Join us for Understanding Brain Cancer: Education & Support with Dr. Keng Lam, an informative virtual workshop designed to help patients, survivors, caregivers, and families better understand brain cancer and current treatment approaches.

In this session, Dr. Keng Lam, a neuro-oncologist specializing in brain and nervous system tumors, will provide an overview of common diagnoses, treatment options, and current advances in care. Participants will also gain insight into what patients and families may expect throughout the treatment journey and have the opportunity to ask questions in a supportive environment.

Dr. Lam brings extensive experience shaped by training at UC Davis, Kaiser Los Angeles, and MD Anderson, and his research on conditions such as gliomas and leptomeningeal disease has been published in leading medical journals. Known for his compassionate, patient-centered approach, he connects with a diverse community of patients and speaks English, Spanish, Cantonese, and conversational Mandarin.

Join us for our Balance & Mobility Education Workshop, designed to support individuals navigating cancer treatment, survivorship, or recovery by improving safety, confidence, and independence in everyday movement.

In this educational session, participants will learn about fall risk awareness, safe mobility strategies, and practical ways to support balance, particularly for those experiencing treatment-related fatigue, neuropathy, muscle weakness, or changes in stability.

Participants will also have the opportunity to receive an individual balance screening using the BTrackS™ Balance Tracking System, a clinically validated tool used to assess fall risk. Each participant will receive a personalized report to take home and share with their physician or care team.
